1954 Fuldamobil NWF 200 Microcar

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1954 Fuldamobil NFW200 microcar. Extremely rare in the U.S. and offered stateside for the first time out of the famed Bruce Weiner Microcar Museum. The Fuldamobils were among the earliest post-war microcars, and the bodies, engines, number of wheels and even the assembly plants varied a bit throughout the production run.

This 1954 NFW200 is an early example of the updated body shape and its body panels are constructed of aluminum. A 200cc one-cylinder, two-stroke ILO engine powers the lightweight Fulda and is mated to a sequential manual gearbox (like a motorcycle of scooter) with a reverse gear. The Fuldamobil is slightly larger than an Isetta with considerably more interior volume and an opening rear hatch.

This example is in largely original condition, it wears an older olive green repaint and the thin aluminum panels have some waviness as expected -- but it is in good, solid, running and driving condition. The no-frills interior is highlighted by period plaid upholstery. This is likely the only Aluminum-bodied Fuldamobil available in the United States (the later cars were Fiberglass) and is a must-have for any Microcar collector. Current Georgia registration.
