1956 Ford Thunderbird

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1956 Ford Thunderbird. Finished in red with a white hard top over a black and white interior, this first-gen T-Bird presents to a good driver standard inside and out. Underside is very original with no known rust issues. Both the hard top and white vinyl convertible top are included; very nice wire wheels are wearing wide whitewall tires. Indeed, few cars are as glamorous as a first-gen T-Bird and this one offers a ton of style for the money. 72,000 believed original miles.

Interior presents well with all surfaces in good driver condition. All gauges, switches and indicators are working. An AM/FM/cassette stereo is presently installed, but the original Town and Country AM radio is included. This is a highly optioned example, equipped with power steering, power brakes, power windows, a power seat and automatic transmission.

Under the hood is a 312 cubic inch V8 with a four-barrrel carburetor mated to a Fordmatic automatic transmission. It runs and drives well; drivetrain is stock aside from an alternator upgrade (the housing matches the appearance of the original generator to preserve the correct look under the hood). Accompanying the sale are service records dating to 2000, ownership history back to the mid 1980s and a copy of the original invoice. Present owner since 2018 has homes in both Georgia and Virginia; it's being sold on a Virginia title that indicates "actual miles."
