1967 Jaguar E-Type Series I Roadster
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1967 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 Roadster. Exquisitely restored to a very nice standard and under present enthusiast ownership since 2013, this XKE runs and drives as well as it looks. Finished in Bright Red (Carmen) with a black convertible top and interior. Exceptional finish quality throughout with very nice chrome, glass and trim. Gorgeous wire wheels wearing Avon tires. Solid floors and rockers with no known rust. Excellent gaps and panel fitment. This is a mid-1967 production car with open headlights but with all other Series 1 details present (triple SU carbs, polished valve covers, toggle switches in the dash).
Interior presents as nearly new with soft and supple leather seat upholstery, plus excellent door cards, carpets, dash, console and steering wheel. All switches, gauges, lights, indicators are working -- including the vintage Blaupunkt LMKU radio.
The original, numbers-matching 4.2 liter XK twin-cam inline six cylinder engine was rebuilt approximately 6,000 miles ago under prior ownership. It has seen regular oil changes since and a recent tune-up; additional maintenance under current ownership includes a new brake servo and master cylinder along with a new clutch. We've driven many E-Types over the years and this one's performance and driving dynamics do not disappoint.
Spare, jack, tools, owner's manual, service records and heritage trust certificate are included with the sale. For more information about this 1967 Jaguar E-Type for sale at Motorcar Studio in Atlanta, please call 404-692-5250.
