1979 International Scout II
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1979 International Scout II, a well-optioned truck with 304ci V8, automatic transmission, power steering, power disc brakes and A/C. The truck was repainted a few years ago to a nice driver standard; panels are straight with good gaps. Floors, inner rockers and cab supports are excellent; some minor rust is present on the outer rockers beneath the doors (well below your line of sight) but otherwise no known corrosion issues. A very solid Scout overall.
Factory line setting ticket confirms correct original color of Tahitian Red Poly (copper metallic); original paint remains in the door jambs and under the hood. Custom front and rear bumpers; like new BF Goodrich 33x12.50 mud terrains on new FUEL Revolver matte black wheels.
Interior shows well with front and rear seats upholstered in a tasteful dark gray. Floors have been professionally coated and are indestructible. All gauges are working; modern AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth, USB and aux input. A/C has been converted to R-134a, was recently serviced (including new compressor) and is blowing cold.
Under the hood is International Harvester's 304 cubic inch V8 mated to a TorqueFlite 727 automatic transmission. Runs well and drives well, too, thanks to power steering and power brakes (with front disc). Under current Georgia ownership since 2017 with service records included.
