1979 Volkswagen Super Beetle Cabriolet
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1979 Volkswagen Super Beetle cabriolet, finished in lemon yellow over a brown interior. This charming Beetle was purchased new in Toccoa, Georgia and has been under current enthusiast ownership for the past 15 years or so.
The fuel injected 1600cc flat four is peppy and responsive. It starts up easily and delivers power through a smooth four-speed transaxle. Brakes feel good and the 15" wheels are adorned with a new set of tires. The body is in good shape, and the soft top, glass, and brightwork all show nicely. As a Georgia car since new, corrosion is minimal and the undercarriage has only some surface rust on the driver side floor pan.
The interior is tidy, sporting cup holders and an aftermarket radio and speakers. The dash has only minor cracking, the seats show virtually no wear, and the door cards look good.
