1986 Mercedes-Benz 560SL

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1986 Mercedes-Benz 560SL Roadster. Finished in the classic 1980s shade of Champagne Metallic, this R107 presents to a good driver standard throughout. Clean CarFax with no accidents. Current ownership since 2013; odometer quit about five years ago but as this has been used as a nice weather weekend driver, mileage is estimated at or below 120k. Newer canvas top in excellent condition; hard top in good original condition.

Interior presents well with minor patina throughout (and slight color fading on the carpets) but no significant damage or wear. We affectionately refer to a 107 as "der panzerwagen" because of how well-built they are and how well they hold up. A/C has been converted to R134a and is blowing cold. Attractive cocoa mats. Stock aside from a modern stereo in the dash.

The 5.6 liter V8 runs well and makes good power; it's mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. The 1986-89 560SLs were the best performing and most refined of the 107s and this example is no exception.
