1980 International Scout II Diesel

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1980 International Scout II. Powered by a Nissan SD33T Turbo Diesel mated to a four-speed manual transmission, 1980 was the final year of production for the International Harvester Light Line and the only year to receive the turbocharged version of the Diesel.

This truck is finished in a medium metallic blue with the "waves" graphics package. Driver-quality paint, body and interior. Original russet plaid seat upholstery.

After the glow plugs do their thing, this Turbo Diesel starts reliably and runs really well without excessive smoke. Runs and drives well but brakes could use some attention. This truck is not restored like most of the the Scouts we sell at much higher price points -- it could use some wiring cleanup and further sorting (but does run and drive fine as is). And it certainly has an great retro look.
