Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1995 BMW 850Ci, finished in the timeless combination of black over parchment leather. Nice original paint with clean CarFax and no accidents. Very light wear consistent with age and mileage (98k miles) but no major cosmetic defects to note. These cars were ahead of their time and have aged well -- 25 years later and it's still a great looking car from any angle.
Interior presents well with an excellent crack-free dash and steering wheel; leather seating surfaces remain supple. Some of the wood trim has faded (in typical E31 fashion) and has been mostly replaced with black fitted inserts. All gauges, lights, climate control, factory stereo, etc. are working as they should.
Under the hood is the M73 5.4 liter V12, the largest and most powerful engine offered in the E31 8-series aside from the CSi. The five-speed automatic is a great gearbox that shifts intuitively and smoothly. Extensive recent service under current ownership includes a suspension and brake refresh with new front struts, rear shocks, control arms, front brake rotors and pads (plus new tires). Recent engine maintenance includes new spark plugs and wires, thermostat, battery, air mass meter and intake manifold gaskets.
