1972 MG MGB
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1972 MGB Roadster. This MGB, finished in British Racing Green over tan interior, is just out of long-term local ownership and is a good driver-quality example.
It has had one repaint in the correct color some years back that still shows to a good standard -- there are a few chips and touch-ups here and there. The chrome bumpers were replaced under previous ownership and the rest of the trim and glass show to a nice standard. No known rust issues, original floors, very solid overall.
Upgrades over the past few years have included a canvas convertible top and boot cover, Minilite-style wheels with newer tires, hydraulic hood struts and a Retrosound radio with two speakers in a box on the parcel shelf. It has also had a recent brake master cylinder replacement and shuttle valve rebuild.
The engine runs well and the car has a solid feel going down the road; third gear synchros are weak and require a slow shift to avoid a grind. A rostyle spare wheel and jack are included in the recently re-carpeted trunk. An attractive and fun English roadster with nice upgrades at an approachable price point.
