1973 Jaguar E-Type 2+2 V12 Coupe
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1973 Jaguar E-Type Series III Coupe. With the same Atlanta owner since 2011 (it was a 40th birthday present from his wife). Shows to a nice driver standard with a straight and solid body and no known rust issues. Finished in red over biscuit interior. Nicely optioned with wire knock-off wheels and factory A/C. Bumpers, trim, glass, lenses and chrome are all in good condition.
Interior is believed to be all original and has held up remarkably well. Headliner, dash, steering wheel and switchgear are all quite nice; leather seat upholstery remains soft and supple and has not been re-dyed; there is light wear showing on the center armrest and driver's side carpets. All gauges, lights, indicators and switches are working properly and the A/C blows ice cold. The only thing NOT working is the factory radio, which is still present in the dash.
Under the hood is the original, numbers-matching 5.3 liter V12 (an impressive and smooth powerplant) mated to an automatic transmission. This Jag runs and drives well -- and with the automatic, power steering, power brakes and cold air conditioning it's an easy car to live with and enjoy year round in any climate. Recent service within the last year included new fuel lines, a new brake master cylinder and new tires.
