1977 International Harvester Scout II
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1977 International Scout II, a three-owner lifelong Georgia truck with ownership history to new. First sold at the Bryant International dealership in Gainesville, Georgia -- the truck remained with the original owner in Gainesville until his passing in 2004. Two subsequent Atlanta owners (the current owner bought the truck in 2010 from a friend of his, who bought it from the original owner's estate in 2004).
Repainted some years ago in a medium blue metallic (original color was Glacier Blue). Interior likely done at the same time (we would guess late 1990s or early 2000s based on the design choices). Optioned with factory a/c (not currently blowing cold) and a dealer-installed Warn 8074 winch. Period pro-comp lights mounted on both front and rear bumpers. Currently running a bikini top over the roll bar, but a full soft top in older but serviceable condition is included with the sale.
Under the hood is a 345 cubic inch V8 mated to an automatic transmission. Recent carburetor, fuel tank, brake job. Runs and drives but may need minor additional sorting -- this truck is not as highly restored as our typical Scout offering, but has a well-documented ownership history and is available at an attractive price point.
