1973 BMW 3.0 CS Coupe

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1973 BMW E9 3.0CS. This coupe is a three-owner example with 88,400 original miles. It has been in our personal collection for five years and was with the previous owner in North Carolina for 30 years. It is a largely unrestored and unmolested example -- never wrecked or rusty -- one repaint in the mid 80s in correct Fjord Blue completed to a nice standard. The leather was retrimmed and the wood was beautifully refinished about 10 years ago. Otherwise it remains in excellent original condition throughout.

During our ownership it has had new Michelin tires, the carburetors (Webers) rebuilt, complete A/C system rebuild (it's ice cold), new factory exhaust, clutch hydraulics and electronic ignition in addition to regular service and maintenance items. We've put about 1,000 per year on it including several extended drives to various events; it has always performed beautifully and is a lovely car to drive.

The 3.0 liter M30 inline 6 is the numbers-matching unit and is paired to a four-speed manual transmission -- this has proven to be a reliable and easy to service combination.
