1954 Buick Roadmaster Riviera Hardtop

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this fabulous 1954 Buick Roadmaster two-door Riviera Hardtop. Finished in Jordan Gray (a pale blue-gray shade) with a Cavalier Blue hard top, it's an attractive, well-optioned and nicely-restored example. Show-quality paint and body with nearly perfect grille, bumpers, chrome, trim and glass.

With the same Utah owner since 1989, he had this Buick professionally restored from 1991 to 1993. Garaged and driven sparingly since with a only few minor marks from light use, but even the seasoned observer would not guess this is a 30-year-old restoration. This was a dry southwest car prior to his purchase, and he chose to keep the floors in original and unrestored condition given how solid they were (see photos). Well documented with all receipts totaling more than $45,000 (imagine what that would cost today).

Interior presents beautifully with very nice seat upholstery, headliner, door panels, carpets, dash and steering wheel. Light wear on door arm rests and sill plates, but otherwise the car presents as nearly new. All gauges, lights, dual heater blowers, power windows, power seat and selectronic AM radio are all working.

Under the hood is Buick's 322 cubic inch "Nailhead" overhead valve V8 mated to a Dynaflow automatic transmission. Equipped with power steering and power brakes, it's comfortable, quiet and easy to drive (and a reminder of just how nice a 50s Buick is -- second only to a Cadillac in GM's hierarchy). Classic Harley Earl styling still turns heads today.
