1977 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1977 Beetle convertible, an attractive driver finished in Periwinkle Blue and with the same owner for the last seven years. This Beetle saw an exterior cosmetic restoration along with new floors pans around 10 years ago and it's holding up well. It also got new rubbers, trim and top at that time and it has been garage kept since. Tidy interior with good seats, carpets and door panels.

The 1970s saw many upgrades and improvements to the Beetle, which had been around for decades -- curved windshield, more luggage space, better ventilation, and a more powerful 1600 cc engine. This car got a remanufactured engine shortly after the owner's purchase and has been driven approximately 6,000 miles since. Recent clutch and carburetor (no longer fuel injected). Runs and drives well. The owner recently acquired a Porsche 993 Cabriolet (still air cooled and with a manual transmission) and is reluctantly parting with "Phoebe" due to limited garage space.
