1971 MG MGB

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1971 MG MGB Roadster. This MGB is finished in Blaze (a deep orange shade) over black interior with a black convertible top. It has been with the same local, enthusiast owner since 2011 and with the previous lady owner since 2000. It was repainted once in the correct color 20 years ago and still shows to a good driver standard.

The factory painted 14-inch steel wheels are wearing full-depth Bridgestone tires and nice trim rings. The convertible top is in good condition with a new top boot (plus full tonneau). Tidy interior with good carpets, door panels, seat upholstery, dash and a nice wood steering wheel.

Extensive service records accompany the sale and date to 2000. Under current ownership it had a top-end engine rebuild with hardened valve seats and stainless valves, electronic ignition, new rear springs, new gas tank, fuel pump, seat upholstery, recent battery, clutch and pressure plate, stainless sport exhaust, front brakes, water pump and hoses, and various other bits. It's currently running a Weber 32/26 carburetor but the original SUs have been professionally rebuilt and are included. This MGB runs and drives well and is presentable for regular use or cars and coffee.
