1966 Land Rover 88 Series IIa

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1966 Land Rover Series 2A 88. This Series truck had a recent top end engine rebuild / valve job, complete brake overhaul, new tires, new fuel tank, new radiator, new carburetor and a partial suspension overhaul. It has a new canvas hood (top) with OE hoodsticks and new tailgate but also includes its factory safari hardtop with full rear door.

Although it has plenty of patina in the paint and interior, it's not rusty -- and we have driven it regularly for the past year. We added three-point seat belts for some degree of safety, and the exterior lighting has been upgraded with new assemblies.

It runs great and will keep up with traffic -- and it gets more attention and thumbs up than anything in our fleet. It has been reliable and easy to own. Desirable LHD example with the 2.25L petrol engine and four-speed manual. Working four-wheel drive.
