1976 International Harvester Scout II Rallye
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1976 International Scout II. Finished in olive green with a white top and matte black rallye stripe, it's a sharp truck that never fails to turn heads. Very nice paint and body with no known rust issues; excellent grille, trim and glass. Winch bumper with Warn winch and KC lights plus brand new Mickey Thompson 17-inch Deegans wearing 285/70 Kenda Klever R/Ts (approx 33x10.50) complete the look. Well-optioned with V8, automatic, power steering, power disk brakes, air conditioning and four-wheel drive.
The interior features stock front bucket and rear bench seats upholstered in saddle (also known as camel, or "baseball glove brown") with black piping plus matching door panels. Very nice crack-free dash with all gauges clear and working; factory AM/FM stereo remains in place and works. A bluetooth soundbar is tucked beneath the A/C unit in the passenger footwell for modern functionality and music streaming via a paired device. Factory A/C has been converted to R-134a and is blowing cold. Center console with cupholders and padded armrest.
Under the hood is a 345 cubic inch V8 mated to a TorqueFlite 727 automatic transmission. If you're wondering where the shifter for the transfer case is located, this truck is equipped with a Dana T143 single-speed transfer case (a factory option for all Scout IIs but rarely ordered). Instead of a second shift knob for the transfer case protruding from the tunnel, there's a pull knob on the dash to select four-wheel drive (and of course you still have to lock the manual hubs on the front wheels).
Nicely detailed engine compartment; mechanical upgrades include an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, DUI distributor with electronic ignition and a new aluminum radiator with new hoses. All driveline components have been rebuilt; it's running a four-inch Rough Country lift and heavy-duty tie rods and drag link from GRC,
