Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1973 Porsche 911T Sunroof coupe finished in attractive Metallic Blue over black and houndstooth interior. This 911 presents as a driver-quality example cosmetically, but has benefited from an extensive mechanical refresh. Numbers-matching engine and transmission and correct color per included COA. 121,000 miles.

A 2009 service at 113k miles included a top-end engine rebuild, Carrera timing chain tensioners, timing chain and guides, clutch, shift and throttle linkage, brake work, mounts, SSI stainless heat exchangers, torsion bars (22mm and 27mm), Koni shocks, front and rear bushings, tie rods, cv axles and more. Leakdown was noted at less than 5% across all cylinders at that time. This work totaled over $20,000.

The Fuchs wheels have been professionally refinished and are wearing Pirelli P6000 tires. Since changing hands in 2012 this 911 has been with an enthusiast owner who is also a PCA member and club racer. It has been driven regularly and serviced as needed. The body is in good overall condition, but is wearing an older repaint (in the correct color) that is starting to show its age. We have noted a patch in the floor below the pedal box and some corrosion in the rear seat bottom area. Trim and rubbers are likely original and are serviceable but have some wear and patina. The interior shows well with nice door cards and dash.

The numbers-matching 2.4 liter flat six (running its stock 1973.5 CIS fuel injection) pulls strong and sounds great; clutch, gearbox and shift linkage feel good; the suspension and steering are tight.
