1986 Porsche 930

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1986 Porsche 911 Turbo (930). COA confirms numbers-matching engine and transmission and original color of Guards Red with gold metallic Fuchs and black sport seat interior. 72k miles with a clean CarFax and no accidents. This 930 was sold new in Augusta, Georgia, and it has remained in Georgia, South Carolina and Florida throughout its life. Very nice paint and body, and the factory-supplied gold Fuchs are a nice departure from the more commonly seen black centers.

Interior shows well with sport seats in good original condition; nice crack-free dash. Headliner, door cards and carpets are likewise in good original condition. Steering wheel has been restored with new leather and subtle red stitching. Stock inside except for boost gauge in place of the factory clock and a modern stereo in the dash. A/C blows ice cold (not merely "Porsche cold") thanks to recent overhaul.

Well maintained with a few upgrades that enhance performance without sacrificing driveability, including a Weltmesiter intercooler, a custom Monty exhaust and a new K27 turbo installed just last year. New clutch in 2013 at 68k miles; recent service within the last year includes a valve adjustment, shifter bushings and a new alternator. Runs and drives great; boost comes on lower and builds faster thanks to the turbo/wastegate/intercooler upgrades -- it's eminently streetable and well-manned around town but considerably faster than stock under spirited driving (it certainly took our breath away here at Motorcar Studio, which is not easy to do).
