1974 Ford Bronco
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1974 Ford Bronco. This Early Bronco has a great look and many desirable options and upgrades -- 302 ci V8, automatic transmission, power steering and power disk (front) brakes. It had a fairly extensive mechanical refresh in 2008 that included a remanufactured engine, rebuilt transmission and transfer case, brake upgrade, long-range fuel tank and lift kit.
The truck was also painted in 2008 to a good driver standard; as the paint is now 10 years old and the truck has been driven, it has a few flaws and touch-ups in in the finish. There is some past amateur rust repair and some remaining rust in the floors (new pans were laid in over the existing ones) -- so although it's structurally sound and has a great look overall, it's not a show truck. Nice alloy wheels are wearing 35” BFG mud terrains with nearly full tread. Soft top is in good condition.
The interior features bucket seats with Bronco script, a fold-and-tumble rear seat, center console and modern stereo with bluetooth (which speaker boxes attached to the rear wheel wells). The roll bar with three-point seat belts is a nice upgrade.
This Bronco runs and drives well, especially for a lifted truck with big tires and a soft top -- it cruises comfortably at highway speeds and tracks / stops straight. A new carburetor was just fitted. Extensive service and restoration records are included. This is a turn-key truck that looks good but is not too nice to take off-road.
