Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1987 BMW E24 M6 with only 51,000 original miles. This M6 is finished in Zinnoberrot over tan leather with brown leather dash and upper door cards. It has been garage kept as part of a collection and driven sparingly during the current owner's tenure. A well-maintained example with lots of recent service. Clean CarFax with no accidents.
This M6 is largely in stock and original condition, with only a few tasteful upgrades: Style 5 17-inch wheels have been fitted and are wearing Hankook tires; a newer BMW CD player is in the dash; a front strut brace has been added along with a cold air intake. The paint meters as mostly original with the exception of the rear quarter panels and decklid -- and it shows to a nice standard throughout. Front seats have been beautifully reupholstered in correct leather; the interior is otherwise original and quite clean and nice. There is some light shrinkage of the upper leather dash around the defrost vents.
The S38 engine runs well and pulls strong throughout the rev-range, and the gearbox, clutch and brakes all feel as they should. The engine compartment is nicely detailed (and the underside is, of course, solid with no rust issues).
