1986 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60. This FJ60 is a very nice example with reasonable mileage (173k) and long-term ownership history. The current owner has invested over $23,000 in this truck over the past ten years and 20,000 miles -- all service has been completed by a highly regarded Land Cruiser specialist in Atlanta, ACC Garage. Beyond routine maintenance, this FJ60 has had a desirable H55 five-speed transmission upgrade, a mild two-inch Ironman lift with complete suspension rebuild, front axle rebuild, clutch replacement, new radiator, hoses, belts, oil pan gasket, A/C service, transfer case rebuild, alternator, power steering pump and hoses, new carburetor and much more.

A quality repaint was commissioned in 2012 and the finish remains in good condition -- and as a Southern truck it shows no signs of rust. Likewise the interior shows to a nice standard with only minor wear on the outer bottom seat vinyl and some typical wear in the rear luggage area. A locking Tuffy console box has replaced the original storage box but the original is included along with the original exterior mirrors. The front bumper was replaced with a brush guard but is also included (although it's slightly bent). 15-inch alloy wheels are wearing 31x10.50 BFG All Terrains with half tread remaining. A safari rack completes the look.

It runs and drives great and feels more spritely than most FJs we have driven -- likely thanks to the upgraded transmission and carburetor. Cold A/C. The original key, owner's manual, tool roll, jack and extensive service records are included. A thorough “bumper to bumper” inspection, including compression numbers, was completed recently by a marque specialist (ACC) and is available for serious buyers.
