1992 Mercedes-Benz 500E

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this rare 1992 Mercedes-Benz W124 500E. Built in collaboration with Porsche, the 500E was produced in small numbers and sold at an extraordinary price point. They remain desirable today with both Mercedes and Porsche enthusiasts.

This example, finished in Schwarzgrau over black leather interior, has been well kept and shows 154k miles. Clean CarFax with no accident history. Long-term Southern ownership prior to our acquisition with service records. Service over the last three months and 500 miles has included new tires, brakes all around, oil service, filters, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, distributor caps and rotors, rear suspension accumulators and more. Past service included a top-end rebuild and timing chains. We also commissioned a light cosmetic refresh which included new headlight doors, exterior mirrors (originals included for both) and a new headliner.

This 124 drives great and eats up highway miles; each time we drive it we wish that Mercedes still built vehicles that felt so vault-like. It is an unmolested example with the only deviation from stock being the 18-inch AMG Monoblock wheels, the original 16-inch wheels are included. The interior is in nice original condition with working climate control, sunroof, cruise control, heated seats, rear sunshade and Becker radio. We believe the paint to be mostly original and it shows well overall - there is some light checking in the clear coat on the top side and a quarter sized ding above the right tail light. Books, tools, spare, first aid kit, original wheels and records included.
