1957 MG MGA Roadster

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1957 MG MGA Roadster. Very attractive in sea-foam green metallic over tan leather interior; this example underwent a frame-off restoration with a bare-metal repaint about three years ago (see photos). Bumpers, grille, badges, mirrors, wire wheels, radial tires, convertible top and tonneau cover all are new. The side curtains have been restored with new seals and new plexiglass; although the car has been driven several hundred miles on nice-weather days since the restoration, the side curtains have never been used and the sliding panes still have their protective paper in place.

The interior has also been fully restored, with new carpet and new leather seat upholstery over rebuilt original seats. New sun visors, wind wings, steering wheel, shift lever, switchgear, heater controls, dash vents, etc. All gauges, lights and indicators are working as they should. The interior was also fitted with heat and sound deadening material under the carpet and behind the door panels.

Mechanically excellent with all chassis and drivetrain components new or rebuilt, including engine, gearbox, clutch, steering, suspension and brakes (including master and wheel cylinders). New Weber carb, Falcon stainless exhaust, fuel tank, fuel pump, starter, battery, radiator, electric fan, oil cooler, and more.

Included with the sale are the original tools (brass hammer for knock offs, jack, handle and spanners) plus a reproduction MGA handbook. A thoroughly restored example with no known needs except to be enjoyed by its next owner.
