Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1979 International Scout II. Fully restored (frame off) about eight years ago, it has been garaged and driven sparingly since and still feels fresh and put-together. Excellent paint and body, finished in Pearl White -- a GM color that's attractive and not often seen on a Scout. Underside is nicely detailed and painted body color, a welcome departure from the black floors we often see. Bumpers, glass and grille are excellent. Newer 16-inch alloy wheels with 265/75 light truck tires, which afford a much smoother ride than the mud tires you typically find on a Scout.
Interior shows very well with OEM pillow-top bucket seats in excellent condition, as are door panels, carpet, dash and rallye steering wheel. All gauges and lights are working; modern AM/FM/CD stereo with USB and aux input.
Under the hood is a 345 cubic inch V8 mated to an automatic transmission, plus power steering and power disk brakes. Runs and drives great. In short, it's a clean, and well maintained frame-off restoration that needs nothing except to be enjoyed by its next owner.
