1966 Chevrolet C10 pickup

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1966 Chevrolet C10. Finished in red with white accents, this fleetside short bed pickup presents very nicely inside and out. Excellent paint quality over a straight and solid body; lifelong Georgia truck sold new in Decatur, and in the present owner's collection since 2003. Trim, glass, lenses, bumpers and grille are all in very good condition; the wood bed floor is likewise solid with no rot. Color-matched 15-inch steel wheels with hubcaps are wearing whitewall radial tires.

Interior presents to a restored standard; steering wheel is crack free, seat upholstery looks and feels new, vinyl floor covering shows virtually no wear, and the gauges are clear and working (including instrument backlights). Lights, turn signals, horn, wipers, etc. are all functioning properly. Radio delete (as a fleet truck it was likely ordered without one).

Under the hood is a 283 cubic inch V8 mated to a three-speed manual column-shift transmission. The engine was rebuilt within the last year and 1,000 miles. It starts easily and runs well; stock two-barrel carb provides smooth acceleration. Transmission was also rebuilt, along with the shift linkage and a new clutch. This is a good running and driving truck.
