This 6-liter V12-powered W140 was the pinnacle of Mercedes-Benz engineering, considered by many enthusiasts to be the last Benz built to a standard, not a price. At $130,000, it was among the most expensive luxury sedans you could buy in the 1990s -- so expensive that it didn't sell well against other luxury competitors, which ultimately led to an era of more budget-conscious design at Mercedes.

This example has accumulated just 45,000 miles; finished in code 199 black pearl (also known as blue-black metallic), the paint is original and presents very nicely. There is little discernible wear inside or out, consistent with what one would expect for a well-maintained sub-50k-mile car. Very nice bumpers, trim and glass. Factory 16-inch alloy wheels are wearing (of course) Michelins. Clean CarFax with no accidents. Excellent original interior leather, wood, door panels, steering wheel, dash, carpets and headliner.
