1969 Porsche 912

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this remarkably
well-documented 1969 Porsche 912 non-sunroof coupe. Finished in Light Ivory
over black leatherette, the car shows to a good driver standard throughout. A
three-owner example with known history to new, the car underwent a mechanical
and cosmetic restoration in the early 1990s. The original engine was sent to
California and overhauled by "The Maestro" Harry Pellow in 1994,
right at 22k miles ago.

Paint, body and trim show minor patina and a few minor flaws
consistent with age since restoration, but panels are straight and gaps are
good. 15x6 "Flat Six" Fuchs. Rust repair underneath with partial
floor pan replacement done to an acceptable, but not concours, standard.  Interior likewise shows to a good driver
standard -- crack-free dash, nice sun visors, stain-free headliner and carpet,
original steering wheel, original (and working) Blaupunkt AM/FM/SW radio. All
gauges and lights are working, including the clock. Door panels are in decent
shape showing the usual deterioration in the door pockets. Original upholstery
with a few split seams in the driver's seat, but otherwise good. Original seat
belts.

Runs and drives just as it should -- clutch and 901
five-speed gearbox feel great with no crunchy synchros; engine starts and runs
well. Recent valve adjustment, oil service and tune-up in our shop; brake job
including master cylinder in 2013; pages of service records and a handwritten
maintenance log back to 1980. Original maintenance book and driver's manual included
(of particular interest are Harry Pellow's engine build invoice with break-in
instructions and an HCP Research brochure from the early 1990s).
