Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1983 Datsun 280ZX. Finished in black over tan interior, this exquisite example presents beautifully both inside and out. Under current Atlanta enthusiast ownership since 2016 and showing 70,000 believed-to-be-original miles. Clean CarFax report with no accidents. Excellent paint quality over a straight and rust-free body. Factory two-tone 14-inch alloy wheels are wearing BF Goodrich tires. Glass, lenses, trim and t-tops are excellent.
Interior presents very nicely; original headliner, door panels, dash and console in excellent condition. Carpets and seat upholstery were professionally replaced under current ownership and look new. Digital dash works perfectly with no dim or dead pixels. A/C has been converted to R-134a and blows ice cold. Factory stereo also works (speakers have been replaced) but the display is occasionally dim. Voice warnings also work as they should.
Under the hood is a 2.8 liter normally-aspirated inline six mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Service under current ownership has included a new clutch, new thermostat and hoses, new shocks and struts, new fuel injectors and a full tune-up, new front rotors and pads, and all new exhaust including ceramic-coated headers. The engine bay is nicely detailed and all of the original zinc-plated items have been re-plated.
