1959 MG MGA 1500 Roadster

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1959 MG MGA Roadster. Finished in red over black, this MGA presents to a good driver standard inside and out. The body is straight but the paint, trim and wire wheels are showing considerable patina (see photos). Side curtains, convertible top frame and a brand new convertible top are included with the sale. Structurally sound with no known rust issues.

The interior of this MGA presents nicely with good carpets, floor mats, door cards, dash and steering wheel. Seats are upholstered in black with red piping and are in excellent condition. All of the gauges are clear and working.

Under the hood is a 1500 cc four-cylinder engine mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Front disk brakes. Runs and drives well (see video) -- suspension, steering and braking feel unusually good for an MGA. Recently out of long-term storage so we expect it to need some minor additional sorting before being pressed into regular service or for touring -- but this represents a far better value than a non-running project car.
