1972 Ford LTD Convertible

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1972 Ford LTD Convertible. The LTD was Ford's most luxurious large car offering of the era and incorporated many options typically only found on Lincolns at the time. This is a single-family owned example from new, purchased by the current owner's father from George Coleman Ford in Travelers Rest, South Carolina and remaining in SC and GA throughout its life. Odometer shows 28,000 miles, believed to be 128,000.

This LTD is finished in code 9A Wimbledon White over a burgundy interior -- one older repaint with completely original interior. The body is straight and mostly rust free, the paint has a nice shine and the underside is very good -- however there is patina throughout in keeping with an unrestored car of this age. Highly optioned with a 429ci V8, power top, power brakes, power steering, power windows, power seat, cruise, power trunk, tilt and air.

The car runs and drives well and has made a few recent highway trips, but we would recommend a basic servicing along with A/C repair if one chooses. Additionally the right rear window is stuck down. Original AM/FM radio and power top are in working condition.
