1974 Ford Bronco

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1974 Ford Bronco. This Early Bronco was restored about two years ago to a very nice standard with a list of new parts and upgrades a mile long. It's highly optioned with a 302 cubic inch V8, power steering, power disk (front) brakes and automatic transmission. A full fiberglass tub means no rust, and the finish and paintwork are excellent -- the pearl white paint is a nice touch. 15-inch American Racing alloys are wearing 33-inch BF Goodrich all terrains. Custom tubular doors with netting are exquisitely made and offer a more secure driving experience without impeding air flow.

A custom canvas top snaps into place over the six-point full-length roll cage, which features three-point seat belts front and rear plus grab handles for all seating positions. There are no rear or side windows. Inside you'll find all-weather carpet, bucket front seats, a fold-and-tumble rear seat, a locking Tuffy console with a bluetooth stereo, and custom speaker pods (front speakers are under the dash while rears are mounted overhead on the cage and have integrated lights).

We do not have a detailed build sheet as the current owner purchased the truck mostly as you see it two years ago. But a quick inspection reveals that nearly every system has been replaced or restored, and the 1800 miles showing on the odometer are believed to be "since built." The engine and transmission are nicely detailed and were likely rebuilt when the truck was restored. The alternator, voltage regulator, power steering pump, starter, aluminum radiator, brake components, belts, hoses, valve covers, Holley 4bbl carburetor, aluminum intake, long tube headers, exhaust, and fuel tank all appear to be new.

This Bronco sports a James Duff lift with twin shock setup front and rear. Armored pumpkins will protect the front and rear diffs in any terrain. Suspension and steering components are new, including all bushings, tie rods and steering box. The gusseted drop-down radius arm mounts help reduce bump-steer; and they are tied into custom outriggers that support the powder-coated full family cage. This was clearly a very expensive and well-thought-out build.

This Early Bronco has a great look and drives considerably better than most lifted examples we've had -- no doubt thanks to all of the new components and well-designed suspension. Although it's likely too nice to see much offroad use, it's ready to go wherever you want to take it.
