Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1991 AM General M998 HMMWV, a nicely upgraded truck with an overdrive transmission and cold A/C. This former military Humvee was originally tan with green interior (like most) but is now finished in black rhino liner with black interior and offered on a clean and clear Georgia street legal title. 17-inch Mayhem alloy wheels are wearing Ironman 37x12.50 mud tires. All exterior lights have been upgraded to LED. Equipped with a full hard top and hard doors and a full-size matching spare. D-Ring front brush guard and rear Baja rack (the spare can be mounted to the bed rack). This HMMWV has seen just the right updates in both appearance and function -- it's a great looking rig that runs and drives well.

Interior is equipped with comfortable and supportive racing seats in all four positions, a hidden key (to preserve the original switchgear), a full-time backup camera, bluetooth stereo, iPad holder, heat and air conditioning. All gauges, lights, windshield wipers, climate control, etc. are working. It's quite spacious inside like all Humvees, and thanks to the four-speed automatic transmission you can actually achieve highway speeds in this one.

Under the hood is a 6.2 liter Diesel engine mated to a desirable 4L80E overdrive automatic transmission. Service under present ownership includes new half shafts, rebuilt hubs, new shocks, springs, tie rod ends and ball joints. An 80 mph speedometer has also been fitted (actual mileage is estimated to be around 34,000). A 24-volt battery tender is included.
