Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1925 Ford Model T. Fresh from a three-year restoration including a rebuilt engine and transmission, it runs and drives just like a Model T should (see video). Body is straight and solid; steel fenders and running boards are excellent. It's painted black just as Henry Ford intended, but a subtle red pinstripe is a nice update. Wood wheels in excellent condition. No-nonsense interior shows well and all driving controls are working properly. Stock inside and out except for the addition of turn signals and brake lights. Original headlights and horn are working. Period Boyce MotoMeter atop radiator.
Rebuilt flathead four under the hood; new cloth wiring is tidy. Gear-driven six-volt alternator, but otherwise stock in the engine compartment. Magneto and electric starter both work perfectly. Original two-speed transmission was rebuilt with Kevlar bands for excellent grip and durability; Ruckstell two-speed axle provides "four speeds for Fords" just as advertised. The car is also fitted with Rocky Mountain brakes to provide additional stopping power (a must-have thanks to the higher speeds offered by the Ruckstell axle).
Runs and drives remarkably well for a Tin Lizzie. For more information about this 1925 Model T for sale at Motorcar Studio in Atlanta, please call 404-692-5250. Please note that this vehicle is not located in our showroom, but may be shown by appointment in the Atlanta area.
